We are excited to introduce Lydia Rennie, our new Youth Camps Facilitator based in Wellington. Lydia is stepping into a new role, supporting and expanding our camps ministry in central NZ, from Kaikōura to Ruapehu.

This is a bold step of faith for Scripture Union NZ. We believe camps are powerful spaces where young people encounter God, build community, and grow in Christian faith. Lydia’s own faith journey began as a child at camp—and now she’s passionate about creating those same life-changing moments for others.

“What motivates me most is seeing young people set free when they encounter God’s love—through his Spirit, through welcoming and generous communities, and through Scripture taught in ways that make it come alive.”

· Pray for God-ordained connections as Lydia establishes this role.

· Pray for more campers and leaders to walk alongside young people so SUNZ camps can thrive.

· Pray for strong, genuine relationships within the SUNZ youth camps team as we get to know each other.

· Pray for good health and strength in this new season throughout the year.
