Before 31 March, Your Gift Can Make an Immediate Impact Across Aotearoa, children and young people are discovering, following, and serving Jesus through Scripture Union New Zealand. As we approach the end of our financial year on 31 March, your support is vital to ensure this life-changing work continues. Our prayer is to raise $60,000 through this appeal, providing a strong foundation as we enter the new financial year.
One of these comes from Colin Child, who first encountered Scripture Union as a teenage camper on Pōnui Island in 1965. It was there he prayed to follow Jesus — a decision that shaped his whole life. He went on to become a camp leader, director, and mentor, and continues to be inspired by the vision, leadership, and youth mentoring programmes of Scripture Union.

Sixty years later, God is still moving powerfully. At a recent Pōnui Junior Camp, young people shared meals on the beach, learned about wisdom and hospitality, served one another joyfully, raced together into the ocean, and celebrated milestones with prayer, worship, and candlelight. 78 young people praising God wholeheartedly was an incredible sight.
