Join us for a girls’ weekend of hiking and revelling in God’s creation! This is a beginner‑level tramp and suitable for all levels of experience as long as you’re keen to get outdoors, move your body, meet some cool girls, and have a epic time, you’ll be right! We’re expecting approximately 12 female campers (school years 11–14) and a handful of female leaders. We will start at Tōtara Flat Campsite (near the start of the Kauaeranga Kauri Trail). A shuttle will be offered from Auckland at 8:30am. 

We’ll journey to the start of the Kauaeranga Kauri Trail and spend our first night together in tents before our tramp begins. We’ll take our time walking up to the summit, as there’s so much to do and see along the way! Being out in nature is one of the best ways to connect with God, and we’ll be making space for that as we go. 

After we marvel at the summit, the second evening will be spent together in the Pinnacles Hut. Our last day will start with watching the sunrise from the top (we can’t even begin to describe how epic this is!!!), before we meander back down the mountain, continuing to enjoy each other’s company and our remaining time together. This is a great way to either have a first taste of overnight tramping or to add to your experience.
