Spring, skiing, snowboarding and snow all add up to Snow Blast Camp! 

Snow Blast is held at our iconic Scripture Union Lodge, which is nestled at the bottom of Mt Ruapehu, perfectly positioned for fun on and off the mountain. 

Not every day is spent at the snow. When the weather turns yuck or your feet are screaming for a break from your ski or board boots, we’ve got plenty of options: hot pools, hiking, rock climbing, or games back at the lodge. Being based in Whakapapa Village means there’s always something to do. 

At camp we’ll open the Bible, and it may look different from how you’ve done it before. We’ll discover that the Bible is way more than just an old book, it’s full of real stories that still speak into our lives today. It’s a space where you can ask the hard questions, hear what others think, and figure out what God might be saying to you. No pressure to have all the answers, just come curious! 

If you’ve been carving up the slopes since before you could walk or you’re just learning what pizza and French fries have to do with skiing, whether faith is already part of your life or you’re still figuring things out, this is a place where you can come as you are and enjoy all the goodness of a Scripture Union camp. 

Snow Blast isn’t only about having fun, hitting the slopes, and being in the outdoors - it’s also about learning about God by exploring the Bible beyond four walls, building real friendships, and experiencing faith in a fresh way.
