Do you ski or snowboard or have you always wanted to give it a go? Ruapehu Adventure is exactly where you want to be these Winter Holidays! 

The iconic Scripture Union Lodge will be our home base when we’re off the mountain.  We’ll learn about God, play games, hang out, sleep (yes, bedtime still exists at camp), and eat together. 

Whether you’ve been carving up the slopes since before you could walk or you’re a total beginner, whether faith is already part of your journey or you’re still figuring things out, this is a place where you can come as you are. Our leaders care deeply about making your camp experience amazing. We cater to all skills and abilities, what matters most is that you’re here, giving things a go, and having an epic time. 

Not every day is spent on the slopes, we’ve got plenty of options: hot pools, hiking, rock climbing, or games back at the lodge. Being based in Whakapapa Village means there’s always something to do. 

Activity costs are a guide and mostly cover mountain-related expenses. The amount varies depending on whether you already have a mountain pass or your own gear. It also includes petrol and rainy‑day activities like rock climbing or hot pools. Everyone pays an activity fee before camp, and any unused money is refunded.
