GATHER South is a camps leader training weekend… a chance to gather with people curious or passionate about youth camping ministry from all around the South Island and this November, we’ll be doing something a little different! If you join us in August, you’ll know we frequent Dunedin, however in November we’re giving Canterbury some love and have 25 places for people to register for a weekend together.

From Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon, we'll go through different movements - getting to know each other, prayer together, practical workshops, prompts to reflect, hearing about the camps coming up, as well as time to move our bodies in the outdoors. This is for people who have been leading with us for years, as well as for those who are getting to know Scripture Union New Zealand’s camping ministry for the first time.  

As well as equipping you for camp leadership, you’ll get the opportunity to hear about our Summer Camps and get involved if you’re interested!  GATHER South is an energising weekend exploring what it means to lead teenagers in adventure-based spaces, we hope to see you there!
