E3 is for Year 12-13 school students (ages 17-18). Travelling as a small community through remote wilderness areas of Aotearoa New Zealand, each expedition is focused on developing the character of participants and strengthening their connections with God, others, and creation. Through a combination of shared experiences (back-country cooking, participation in citizen science projects and practical conservation, facilitating decision-making), daily discussions and solo-time, we will explore how we fit into God's story and reflect on what this might mean for the next season of life.
It is with great excitement that we announce the E3YA 2024 will be in the magnificent Marlborough Sounds. Join us from February 3rd – 9th 2024. Where for 7 days we will explore the Whenua and Moana of Te Tauihu-o-te-Waka. Our expedition will take us by sea kayak, foot, and bike to explore a very important part of Aotearoa New Zealand. By sea kayak we will paddle to out of the way bays & islands with stunning flora & fauna. Then through mountain biking & hiking we will explore the famed Queen Charlotte Track. Which encompasses where Captain Cook first made land in Aotearoa and begun our bicultural journey. All this while living in community for 7days and together embracing questions of our faith & it's intersections with life. This is limited to 12 people, so don’t miss out.
