This is our second year running Create, an arts camp designed for those who are interested in creativity and want to explore its connection to faith and worship. 

We’ll spend five days together in Wellington by a beautiful beach and bush area which will provide inspiration and space to explore. You will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of artistic expressions, including music, visual arts, dance, photography, creative writing. Whether you want to focus on one area or dabble in everything, this is your space to explore, create, and be inspired. 

But Create is about more than just making art—it’s about discovering how creativity can be a way of encountering God, expressing faith, and reflecting on what truly matters. Through hands-on workshops, group reflections, and time in Scripture, we’ll explore how the arts can shape the way we pray, worship, and engage with the world around us. 

Throughout the week you will collaborate on a group art project, culminating in an epic showcase on our final night together. You will take home something you’ve created, along with fresh inspiration and new ways to connect with God through the arts. 

Of course, this wouldn’t be a SUNZ Youth Camp without time spent in the great outdoors! Expect to find creative and spiritual inspiration in the beautiful Wellington ngāhere (bush), where we’ll step away from the usual spaces and let nature fuel both our imagination and our faith.
