As part of the SUNZ support team you can help impact children and young people.

Volunteering with SUNZ


Volunteers are a vital and integral part of Scripture Union. We work with between 450 to 500 volunteers every year and we rely on these volunteers to partner with us. Without them we would not be able to fulfil our calling to support churches as we help children and young people discover Jesus and make lifelong disciples who serve the world around them.

We have opportunities for volunteers in a range of areas, such as leading camps and other events, cooking, organising logistics, running workshops, praying, and getting involved in many other ways.

All volunteers who are in a position of influence are required to sign the Commitment to Christian leadership available here and be approved through our formal application process which includes reference checks and police vetting. This applies to, but is not limited to, all camp leaders, SUNZ members and interns and others in contact with children or young people.
