GATHER North is a camps leader training weekend… a chance to gather with people curious or passionate about youth camping ministry from all around the North Island. From Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, we'll go through different movements - getting to know each other, prayer together, practical workshops, prompts to reflect, hearing about the camps coming up, as well as time to move our bodies in the outdoors.

This is for people who have been leading with us for years, as well as for those who are getting to know Scripture Union New Zealand’s camping ministry for the first time. As well as equipping you for camp leadership, you’ll get the opportunity to hear about our Spring Camps and get involved if you’re interested!

This August our GATHER North weekend will be held in Pirongia. Nestled in the foothills of the maunga, we’ll have lots of time to connect in the outdoors. GATHER North is an energising weekend exploring what it means to lead teenagers in adventure-based spaces, we hope to see you there!
